Sometimes you need an infusion of miles or points to your membership account for whatever reason — perhaps to have enough to redeem for a limited time award as one example — and the best time to purchase or gift miles or points is when they are on sale, as with this miles and points on sale for Friday, February 20 2026.

A sale may be a discount on the price required to purchase miles or points — or perhaps the membership program from whom you are buying the miles or points will match your purchase up to 150 percent, which is another way of reducing the cost of miles or points.

Choice Privileges: Up to 30 Percent Discount
You only have until Sunday, March 15, 2026 to take advantage of receiving a discount of up to 30 percent on your purchase of Choice Privileges points with a minimum purchase of 8,000 Choice Privileges points in one transaction as follows:
- Purchase 8,000 to 17,000 Choice Privileges points = 25 percent discount or $0.00773 per Choice Privileges point
- Purchase 18,000 to 180,000 Choice Privileges points = 30 percent discount or $0.00721 per Choice Privileges point
Hilton Honors: 100 Percent Bonus Points
You can receive a bonus of 100 percent on any purchase of a minimum of 5,000 Hilton Honors points — up to a maximum limit of 160,000 Hilton Honors — through the end of the day on Saturday, March 14, 2026, which comes out to $0.005 per Hilton Honors point.
World of Hyatt: 20 Percent Discount
Until the end of the day on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, you can enjoy a discount of 20 percent on the purchase of a minimum of 7,000 World of Hyatt points — that is, spend a maximum of $2,288.00 to receive a total of 110,000 World of Hyatt points. That comes out to $0.0208 per World of Hyatt point.
Marriott Bonvoy: 40 Percent Bonus Points
You can buy or gift a minimum of 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy points — up to a maximum total of 150,000 points that does not include the bonus points — and get a bonus of 40 percent through Thursday, March 26, 2026. That comes out to $0.0089 per Marriott Bonvoy point.
Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airways Flying Blue: Up to 80 Percent Bonus Miles or 45 Percent Discount
Sharing the Flying Blue membership program are Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Transavia, Aircalin, and TAROM — plus, you can redeem Flying Blue miles for flights operated by many partner airlines. Until Thursday, March 5, 2026, you can purchase Flying Blue miles and receive up to 80 percent bonus miles or a discount of up to 45 percent — Flying Blue members who have earned elite status may purchase up to 300,000 miles per transaction before the bonus is added; while other members may purchase a maximum of 100,000 miles as follows:
- Buy or gift 4,000 to 20,000 Flying Blue miles = 50 percent bonus Flying Blue miles or $0.0211 per Flying Blue mile
- Buy or gift 22,000 to 48,000 Flying Blue miles = 60 percent bonus Flying Blue miles or $0.0191 per Flying Blue mile
- Buy or gift 50,000 to 100,000 Flying Blue miles = 80 percent bonus Flying Blue miles or $0.0169 per Flying Blue mile
American Airlines AAdvantage: Up to 40 Percent Discount
You can purchase or gift up to a maximum of 200,000 AAdvantage miles in order to receive a discount of up to 40 percent — for a cost of $4,515.00 for 200,000 miles — through the end of the day on Saturday, February 28, 2026 as follows:
- Buy or gift 3,000 to 9,000 AAdvantage miles = 10 percent discount or $0.0339 per AAdvantage mile
- Buy or gift 10,000 to 29,000 AAdvantage miles = 15 percent discount or $0.0320 per AAdvantage mile
- Buy or gift 30,000 to 89,000 AAdvantage miles = 20 percent discount or $0.0301 per AAdvantage mile
- Buy or gift 90,000 to 150,000 AAdvantage miles = 30 percent discount or $0.0263 per AAdvantage mile
- Buy or gift 151,000 to 200,000 AAdvantage miles = 40 percent discount or $0.0226 per AAdvantage mile
Avianca LifeMiles: Up to 155 Percent Bonus Miles
Receive a bonus of up to 160 percent when you purchase a minimum of 1,000 Avianca LifeMiles to a maximum of 200,000 Avianca LifeMiles through the end of the day on Monday, February 23, 2026 as follows:
- Buy 1,000 to 20,000 Avianca LifeMiles = 135 percent bonus LifeMiles or $0.0140 per LifeMile

JetBlue Airways TrueBlue: Up to 125 Percent Bonus Points
Monday, February 23, 2026 is the last day on which you can purchase a minimum of 5,000 TrueBlue points — up to a maximum limit of 300,000 TrueBlue points — and receive a bonus of 125 percent with JetBlue Airways or $0.0143 per JetBlue TrueBlue point.
Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards: 50 Percent Discount
Through Monday, February 23, 2026, purchase a minimum of 3,000 Rapid Rewards points and receive a discount of 50 percent, which comes out to $0.015 per Rapid Rewards point. You can purchase up to a maximum limit of 60,000 Rapid Rewards points.
United Airlines MileagePlus: 70 Percent Bonus
Until 11:59 in the evening Central Daylight Time through Monday, March 30, 2026, you can purchase or gift a minimum of 5,000 miles and up to a maximum of 29,000 miles and receive a bonus of 70 percent, which comes out to $0.0221 per MileagePlus mile.
Final Boarding Call
Remember that each frequent travel loyalty program has partners through which you can redeem miles or points; so you are not confined just to the product offered by an airline or lodging company.
Also be sure to read the terms and conditions of each offer. Typically, all sales are final: once you have purchased your miles or points through these sales, you cannot return your points; and your money cannot be refunded.
