More details about the reciprocal partnership between Marriott and MGM Resorts — which was first officially announced back in July of 2023 but delayed until this year — for members of the Marriott Bonvoy membership program were revealed recently.
More Details About Reciprocal Partnership Between Marriott and MGM Resorts
As part of the exclusive long-term strategic licensing agreement, the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy was also created. MGM Resorts destinations will be available for booking reservations through the official channels of Marriott starting this year.
The unique benefits based on Marriott Bonvoy membership level on qualifying stays are as follows:

Final Boarding Call
Although the details of the benefits look good overall, one could argue that they are not nearly as good as the benefits when Hyatt Hotels Corporation partnered with MGM Resorts, which ended effective as of Saturday, September 30, 2023. Specifically, members of the World of Hyatt membership program were able to use the partnership with MGM Resorts as the best way to attain elite status, which does not seem to be as easy or as quick with Marriott Bonvoy.
I am not sure why some benefits are only available during a promotion period through Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Those benefits should be permanent, in my opinion.
