A lone wooden stool at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah simply looked so surreal. I have no idea who put it there. I have no idea why it was there. I have no idea how long it has been there. I have no idea if it is still there…

…but as dark storm clouds were closing in from the west and the weather was changing quite rapidly, each photograph was quite different. At times, the mountains seemed to taunt the foreboding clouds by teasingly tickling their underbellies with their craggy peaks.
People actually race bar stools across the Bonneville Salt Flats. Of course, they usually retrofit them with wheels, motors, brakes, and other items that are worth their salt during the racing season.
Pepper spray is not permitted, as that could be considered committing a salt and battery; and may bar stools from racing.
Final Boarding Call
I left the stool on the Bonneville Salt Flats; and it did not stink at all — nor was it not even considered to be a health hazard. It was the worst thing I did in public since I took a leek in the middle of a supermarket.
