Nat’Our Route 4 is a scenic hiking trail of approximately 9.3 miles which loops along the Our River in a municipality in the western part of Germany called Keppeshausen, which is located in the district of Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Sunday Morning Photograph September 25 2022: Keppeshausen in Germany.
The photograph shown above represents the first time I had seen Luxembourg in person just prior to entering it by crossing Our River from Germany.
Luxembourg is on the left side of the Our River when looking to the northwest while on the bridge over the river going between Dorfstraße in Germany and Rue du Faubourg in Luxembourg.
Germany is on the left side of the Our River when looking to the southeast while on the bridge over the river going between Dorfstraße in Germany and Rue du Faubourg in Luxembourg.
Final Boarding Call
I had just happened to pass through this area on my way driving from the Netherlands to Luxembourg — but I had to stop for a few moments to enjoy the natural beauty of this area along the Our River. I did not hike on the trail itself as I did not have enough time — especially as completing the length of the trail can consume almost five hours…
…but if you are seeking a scenic place to hike, consider this location as a possibility for your experience.
