Chuck Scarborough has anchored the local news for WNBC-TV Channel 4 in New York — which is the flagship television station of the National Broadcasting Company — for greater than 50 years, which is quite an achievement. He was definitely a trusted source for news as a veteran journalist. His last official broadcast as an anchorman was on Thursday, December 12, 2024; and you can read the transcript of his final broadcast here.
