OPEN 25 HS ! is the name of a chain of drug stores in Argentina. The photographs that are included in this article show both sides of the location that is airside within Ushuaia – Malvinas Argentinas International Airport during daytime hours…

…so assuming that the name implies that the location is open 25 hours per day, why was this location closed during the day when the airport terminal was busy?

Favorite answer by Jim F.: “Well…first, ‘HS’ is not (at least in English!) the abbreviation for ‘hours’ but let’s let that slide since this is a trademarked name in a country where English is not the native language. But, assuming ‘HS’ is intended to connote ‘hours’ in the convenience store chain name, it sure appears to be a case of false advertising as this location is clearly closed!”

Favorite comment by derek: “Maybe it’s open 25 hours a week and the photo was taken when it was closed?”

  1. Wait…what? Why append “Marietta” to the name of this hotel when, even by its own description, it is not in Marietta? Stranger still, the mailing address for this property is neither Marietta nor Sandy Springs; it’s Atlanta! Why not just call it the “Sonesta Atlanta Beltline North”?

    1. It looks like it is in Sandy Springs, not Atlanta or Marietta. However, Sandy Springs was not incorporated until 2005 so if it has been around awhile it might have been closer to Marietta (or Smyrna) than any other incorporated area when it was built.

Note is is nowhere near the Beltline, although it is right on the Perimeter.

  2. The hotel is not in downtown but lists several downtown destinations to discover. Maybe they should add “Discover Southeastern destinations, like Disney World, Gulf Shores, and the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.”
