What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 58: Coronavirus Edition

As I was on my way to pick up an order last month at a different business establishment during the current 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic, I was compelled to stop at a sandwich shop and take the following photograph when I saw what I saw.

  1. What you think is wrong: “distane” rather than “distance”

    What else is wrong: Your continued middle school need to write as verbosely as possible to mask the fact that your content is de minimus. You had an order at “a different business establishment” and because of the “current 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic.”

    Next time, try: “I saw a funny typo on a Subway sign” (although it’s not actually all that funny).

  2. “distine” has latin based origins with the verb “distineo” which means to keep apart or to separate.

    actually, “distine” is second person singular. so what we have here is a latin scholar saying, “keep apart!” and “separate!”

    so what i’m saying is…there ain’t nothing wrong with this photo!! ha
