Sometimes you need an infusion of miles or points to your membership account for whatever reason — perhaps to have enough to redeem for a limited time award as one example — and the best time to purchase or gift miles or points is when they are on sale, as with this miles and points on sale for Friday, December 5, 2025.
Miles and Points On Sale — December 5 2025
A sale may be a discount on the price required to purchase miles or points — or perhaps the membership program from whom you are buying the miles or points will match your purchase up to 150 percent, which is another way of reducing the cost of miles or points.

You can receive a bonus of 100 percent on any purchase of a minimum of 5,000 Hilton Honors points — up to a maximum limit of 160,000 Hilton Honors — through the end of the day on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, which comes out to $0.005 per Hilton Honors point.
World of Hyatt: 20 Percent Discount
Until the end of the day on Saturday, December 20, 2025, you can enjoy a discount of 20 percent on the purchase of a minimum of 5,000 World of Hyatt points — that is, spend a maximum of $2,288.00 to receive a total of 110,000 World of Hyatt points. That comes out to $0.0208 per World of Hyatt point.
Marriott Bonvoy: Up to 35 Percent Bonus Points
You can buy or gift a minimum of 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy points — up to a temporarily increased maximum total of 200,000 points that does not include the bonus points instead of the usual 150,000 points — and get a bonus of 40 percent through Sunday, December 7, 2025 as follows:
- Purchase 2,000 to 39,000 Marriott Bonvoy points = 30 percent bonus Marriott Bonvoy points or $0.00962 per Marriott Bonvoy point

Wyndham Rewards: 100 Percent Bonus
Starting with a minimum of 6,000 points, you can get a 100 percent bonus on your purchase of up to 200,000 Wyndham Rewards points through Wednesday, December 31, 2025. That comes out to $0.065 per Wyndham Rewards point.
Air Canada Aeroplan: Up to 100 Percent Bonus Points
You can purchase or gift a minimum of 5,000 Aeroplan points and receive a bonus of up to 100 percent through Wednesday, December 17, 2025 as follows:

Sharing the Flying Blue membership program are Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Transavia, Aircalin, and TAROM — plus, you can redeem Flying Blue miles for flights operated by many partner airlines. The regular price for purchasing Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards miles is $27.50 per 1,000 miles; but until Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11:59 in the evening Pacific Standard Time, you can purchase a minimum of 3,000 miles and receive a bonus of up to 80 percent more miles as follows:

Remember that each frequent travel loyalty program has partners through which you can redeem miles or points; so you are not confined just to the product offered by an airline or lodging company.
