Change fees and cancellation fees have been eliminated on what is being called the new Frontier Airlines, which has also announced other new benefits for customers of the airline.
Change Fees and Cancellation Fees Eliminated on Frontier Airlines
- Clear, Upfront Pricing and Options: New Economy, Premium, and Business options include benefits — such as no change fees, bags, seat assignments, and more.
- No Change Fees: Zero change fees or cancellation fees for Economy, Premium, and Business customers — offering greater flexibility.
- Extended Validity of Flight Credits: The validity of flight credit expiration has been increased from three to twelve months — giving customers greater flexibility.
- Additional Support Options: Live telephone support has been reintroduced for customers within 24 hours of flight or those passengers with Elite status. For more information, visit Customer Service.
- “For Less” Price Guarantee: Customers who find a lower price elsewhere can receive 2,500 FRONTIER Miles.
- Improved Communication and Technology: Both technology and communications are being enhanced with an mobile software application program and upgraded web site to simplify travel planning for customers — as well as improving how you are kept updated on travel days.
Frontier Airlines recently overhauled its FRONTIER Miles membership program. Additionally, the airline also recently launched its UpFront Plus seating product, which offers seats with plenty of extra room with a blocked middle seat in the first row of the airplane — which is similar to how the business class cabin is for flights within Europe on with many airlines which are based in Europe.

Seeing is believing, in my opinion.
I have not flown as a passenger aboard an airplane operated by Frontier Airlines in months — but if the airline intends to deliver on these new benefits for customers, that can potentially prove to be a significant improvement for the airline.
One significant issue which has not been addressed is delayed flights. With one exception, every single flight with which I have been a passenger with Frontier Airlines has been delayed — sometimes by as much as three hours.
