Well, this is quickly snowballing into a nice event, as you now have an opportunity to meet several bloggers who write about travel, miles, and points on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 6:00 to 9:00 in the evening Eastern Standard Time — and this will be the first of what may become an ongoing tradition of meetups in Atlanta.
Confirmed: First Atlanta Blogger Meetup — March 2, 2020
I was contacted recently by Stefan Krasowski of Rapid Travel Chai, who will be in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area and is available on Monday, March 2, 2020. Stefan will be in Atlanta to speak at the Travel & Adventure Show Atlanta on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 2:15 to 3:00 in the afternoon on the topic of How to Travel Anywhere and Everywhere with Points. He expressed an interest of informally meeting with readers and frequent travelers starting on that evening.
This event coincides nicely with the Hops in the Hangar Meetup in Atlanta during this coming weekend on Saturday, February 29, 2020 and Sunday, March 1, 2020; so if you are attending that event with other members of FlyerTalk and will be in the Atlanta area during the day on Monday, you may want to join us.
Adam — who used to write for Point Me To The Plane and is based in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area, as am I — had communicated with me via e-mail messages almost four years ago with the possibility of doing something similar; and one of the topics we discussed is the possibility of loosely organizing an informal meeting where you can meet with both of us…
…but for a few reasons, that had not worked out. I reached out to him and hope that he will be able to attend.
Of course, BoardingArea bloggers who are not based in the Atlanta area — as well as bloggers who are not even affiliated with BoardingArea — are welcome to join us.
Confirmed Attendees and RSVP — or Répondez S’il Vous Plaît
In addition to those who have already confirmed, attending this event at the time this article was written include:
- Brian Cohen The Gate
- Richard Kerr The Points Guy
- Bobby Award Booking Service
Did you know that the initials RSVP stand for répondez s’il vous plaît, which literally translates to respond, please?
Please let us know that you are planning to attend this informal event. You can send a message to either:
