New Hilton Benefit 2025 on American Express Business Platinum Card
…but you must enroll for the Hilton for Business benefit in order to take advantage of earning a maximum of $200.00 in statement credits per calendar year — up to $50.00 per quarter — for direct eligible purchases with a hotel or resort property within the Hilton portfolio around the globe.
This new benefit enhances the existing suite of premium travel benefits available to American Express Business Platinum Card members alongside the powerful backing of American Express. The American Express Business Platinum Card offers business and travel value to help support comfort, productivity, and wellness for business travelers while on the road.
Hilton for Business is a digital-forward travel program designed for small-sized and medium-sized businesses that offers additional travel value — such as access to discounted rates, travel management tools, and loyalty benefits. Card Members who do not already have a Hilton for Business membership account will be registered at the time of benefit enrollment. Joining the Hilton for Business program is free.
American Express Business Platinum Card members will continue to enjoy complimentary Hilton Honors Gold elite status, as well as other travel and business benefits — such as:
- Premium airport lounge access through the Global Lounge Collection
- 5X Membership Rewards points on flights and prepaid hotels booked on AmexTravel.com
- Access to greater than $1,000.00 in statement credits with business and travel benefits in the first year of Card Membership on the American Express Business Platinum Card.

Keep in mind that the annual fee for the American Express Business Platinum Card is $695.00; so if you are able to earn the quarterly statement credits by staying at qualifying hotel and resort properties each quarter, that reduces the cost of this card by $200.00.
The question that you need to ask yourself is whether the remaining benefits are worth $495.00 per year. Access to lounges worldwide can alone justify the remainder of the annual fee if you are a frequent traveler; and the benefits of Gold elite status within the Hilton Honors membership program include earning a bonus of 80 percent on points for eligible stays and either a credit on food and beverage or continental breakfast. You could even be upgraded for free to a larger or better room during your stays with Gold elite status.
