T rip Advisor, watch out: FlyerTalk now has a new tool for writing and organizing reviews of hotel properties, resulting in a discussion with a cleaner look — especially now that photographs are easier to add.
Additionally — thanks to hotel property pages which aggregate all of the reviews of a given hotel property onto a single page — searching for hotel properties and reviews should now be easier than ever.
During ßeta testing mode over the past few months — of which I have been involved — greater than 200 reviews covering more than 120 hotel properties have been migrated into this new format after being granted permission by a group of FlyerTalk members who were the authors of existing reviews of hotel properties.
In most cases, the old original review discussions posted on FlyerTalk will be replaced with the new format; and the content of the review using the new template will appear in the original discussion where it was first posted.
For the moment, the new review style is read-only, as only FlyerTalk members who have been part of the ßeta test program can write reviews of hotel properties using the new format. If you would like to join the ßeta group, click here to send a private message to FlyerTalk member IBobi — who is part of the administrative team at Internet Brands — and he will be happy to set you up. You must be a member of FlyerTalk to participate in this ßeta program.
Internet Brands is ready to open this product up to all FlyerTalk members and is soliciting like your feedback, as you are invited and welcome to post your thoughts and opinions here.
