Stay Twice and Earn Up to 8,000 Points With Choice Privileges — Autumn 2023
…but you must sign up and register for this promotion prior to checking out of the hotel during your first stay; and you must book your stay at a qualifying rate.
Realize that after the second qualifying stay, you will be awarded a minimum of 5,000 and maximum of 8,000 bonus Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program points, depending on the number of base points earned from the two separate qualifying trips.
A stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel or resort property — regardless of how many times you check in and check out. You must provide your member number when you check in at the hotel property; and you must set your earning preference to Choice Privileges points in your account.
Early Reservation Booking Discount
If you book early, you can save up to 20 percent on room rates — with a minimum discount of at least 15 percent — but the reservation must be booked through the official Internet web site of Choice Hotels using your Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program account number and must be made at least 7, 14, 21 or 30 days in advance, which will vary based on the hotel property for which the reservation is being made. Be aware that you cannot change or cancel your reservation once it is booked, and the discounted rate is not refundable. Your credit card will be charged for the total reservation amount within 48 hours of booking your reservation. Rooms at this discount are limited; and this offer is not available to groups nor can it be combined with any other discount.
Elite Diamond and Elite Platinum Status
You can book directly with a hotel or resort property if you have earned Elite Diamond and Elite Platinum status; but if you book through the official Internet web site of Choice Hotels or use its mobile application software, you will receive a choice of 250 additional Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program points or a snack and beverage with every qualifying stay as an incentive.

Ineligible Rates
The following rates are not eligible for earning Choice Privileges points:
- WoodSpring Suites hotel properties and Ascend Hotel Collection Penn National Gaming resort properties — among others — are not participating in this promotion
- Rooms booked through a third party retailer or travel agents
- Rooms booked at rates less than $40.00 per night
- Wholesale packages or group tours
- Complimentary rooms, paid for as part of a convention or meeting
- Certain hotel initiated promotions
- Reward night stays
- Stays booked using the employee discount or the friends and family discount
Select Terms and Conditions
You must book your reservations via the official Internet web site of Choice Hotels, the Choice Hotels mobile software application program, or 800.4CHOICE at qualifying room rates. Corporate travelers may book through a corporate online booking system; a global distribution system; or with a travel agent.
Stays at vacation rental property locations and Choice Hotels properties in the following countries are excluded from this promotion: Japan, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia. You must maintain an address in the United States — including its territories — or Canada to be eligible.
Trips at vacation rental property locations and stays booked with the SEGEN rate code do not qualify for promotional bonus points. To be eligible to earn the bonus, you must set you earning preference to Choice Privileges points in your account. Any change implemented to your earning preference will remain in effect after the promotion has ended. If you would like to revert to earning airline miles or Amtrak Guest Rewards, you must reset your preference in your account. Please allow 72 hours from checking out of the hotel or resort property for points to post to your account; and points earned from stays at international locations can take up to 20 days to post to your account.

Final Boarding Call
This is another variation of what has been an ongoing promotion for years. Keep in mind that your points will expire within 18 months unless you have at least one qualifying activity in your account to keep your points from expiring.
This promotion is not for everyone; but if you plan on staying at Choice Hotels properties during the promotion period anyway, you should consider registering for this promotion as a member of the Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program.
As in past iterations of this promotion, I will once again pass on participating in it even though I did register for it — but I hope that you benefit from it.
