Summary
If you do decide to participate in this settlement — I am thinking about participating in it myself, as I just checked and am eligible — note that according to this article written by Chuck of Doctor of Credit, “it’s not an easy class action settlement to take part of — they ask for your VIN number and documentation of the your purchase or lease.”
However, do not expect any major windfall, as you will not exactly get rich from this settlement — and you will not see your money for quite some time.
