Here is your chance to get your share of money from Delta Air Lines class action settlement if you requested a refund for a ticket purchased from Delta Air Lines for a flight that was ultimately canceled by the airline — but instead of a refund, you received a credit for a ticket that was not refundable…
Your Chance to Get Your Share of Money From Delta Air Lines Class Action Settlement
…and if that canceled flight was scheduled to depart between Sunday, March 1, 2020 and Friday, April 30, 2021, you may be eligible for your share of funds from a class action settlement. If so, you must submit your valid claim using this form no later than Friday, September 15, 2023; and you must be a legal resident of the United States in order to be a member of the class action lawsuit settlement.
Settlement Class Members who submit a timely and valid claim form will have the following settlement benefit options for each eligible ticket:
- Cash Settlement Payment includes ticket cash and interest cash:
- You may receive a cash payment if you submit a timely and valid claim form, and you select the Ticket Cash and Interest Cash option for an unused credit and/or partial unused credit.
- Ticket Cash: This is a cash refund of the remaining unused credit and/or partial unused credit. The amount of the cash refund will be the remaining unused credit amount and/or partial unused credit amount as of Friday, September 15, 2023.
- If you select the Ticket Cash option, your unused credits and/or partial unused credits will be frozen by Delta Air Lines within 14 days after Friday, September 15, 2023. If you no longer have any unused credit and/or partial unused credit as of Friday, September 15, 2023, you will only be eligible to receive Interest Cash, not Ticket Cash.
- Credit Settlement Payment includes keeping the ticket credit and receiving an interest credit:
- You may receive a credit if you submit a timely and valid Claim Form, and you select the Ticket Credit and Interest Credit option for an unused credit and/or partial unused credit.
- Ticket Cash: This is the amount of the unused credit and/or partial unused credit that you will keep as a credit, which must be used by Sunday, December 31, 2023, for travel no later than Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
- Interest Credit: If you select to maintain your Ticket Credit, you will receive an Interest Credit in a credit in an amount equal to seven percent of the original ticket amount for both unused credits and Partial unused credits, valid for one year from issuance.
Defendants deny any and all allegations of wrongdoing and do not admit or concede any actual or potential fault, wrongdoing, or liability whatsoever with respect to any facts or claims that have been or could have been alleged in the lawsuit or any similar action; and do not concede any defenses that have been or could have been asserted. Defendants deny that they violated the law and specifically deny that any damages were incuned as a result. The proposed settlement does not suggest that the defendants have done anything wrong, or that plaintiffs — as well as the group of individuals that plaintiffs seek to represent — would or would not win their case if it were to go to trial.

Final Boarding Call
If you do decide to participate in this settlement, completion of the claim form supposedly will consume only a few minutes of your time; but do not expect any major windfall, as you will not exactly get rich from this settlement, as members of this class action who file valid claims will be eligible for a share of the remainder of the settlement fund only after attorneys’ fees and other costs are paid. If more people file a claim than expected, then the final financial settlement amount per person will be less than announced.
