Alleys in Split in Croatia. Sunday Morning Photograph.

We are not discussing bowling here. Strike one...

Alleys in Split in Croatia are not all that uncommon — but they were interesting enough for me to photograph them at night before and after dinner.

The alleys in Split have existed for centuries. They are located in the area of the city which surrounds the popular waterfront area that is known as Riva.

One never knows who may pop up around a corner in what sometimes gives the impression of being part of a labyrinth. Ulica Majstora Jurja is one such alley.

I felt like I became a part of the history of the alleys of Split with a simple stroll through them.
