Mavi Waterfront Bar & Grill is located on United States Highway 90 in the city of Jacksonville Beach in Florida; but note that it is actually approximately two miles west of the actual beach itself — not that that was a problem. We walked into the restaurant and were seated immediately.

Because the restaurant is situated adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway, plenty of tables have waterfront views…
…or patrons can sit outside and dine on their meals right by the water itself. Heat lamps are available if the ambient temperature outside is chilly.
Jet skis and boats may be docked at no charge while dining at the restaurant.
Booths are available inside for anyone who wants to dine in a semi-private and more cozy environment.
The Salmon Fillet was grilled and topped with a delicious lemon caper sauce. Spinach leek rice, broccoli, sauce, and a wedge of lemon accompanied the fish, which was perfectly seared. $30.00
The Mavi Burger contained a seasoned patty of ground beef, special sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion straws on a Kaiser roll, which to me is one of the best breads to use for a hamburger. The French fries were very good; and pickle chips completed this dish. $16.00
My main course was the Stuffed Flounder, which was grilled; stuffed with crab; and topped with hollandaise sauce. Spinach leek rice was served with it. I ordered broccoli as the vegetable of choice. I polished off the plate. $30.00
A full bar is in the restaurant, which features live music on a regular basis.
Final Boarding Call
We did not order any alcoholic beverages or desserts, as none of us were interested in them.
I recommend dining at Mavi Waterfront Bar & Grill. The ambiance is lively as the restaurant becomes filled with customers. Service from members of the staff was very good. The food was very good overall; and the prices were not outrageous — but the menu items were not inexpensive, either.
Although we simply walked in and were immediately seated at a table, reservations are recommended — especially for groups with a minimum of ten people.
