E ffective as of tomorrow, Thursday, June 1, 2017, all members of the Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program who have earned Gold, Platinum and Diamond elite level status will be offered either a complimentary welcome gift or bonus points when checking in to a hotel or resort property across all eleven brands as part of a new recognition program.

According to this official press release, this elite recognition program is in addition to perks and benefits which Choice Privileges elite members already enjoy — including complimentary upgrades, extended booking windows, exclusive reservation telephone numbers, exclusive customer service telephone numbers, and offers for members who have earned elite level status.

I have not yet found at this time the details of specifically what are the complimentary welcome gifts or how many bonus points will be earned; but the addition of this elite recognition program is a welcome addition to the Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program…
…and do not forget that you can earn up to 8,000 Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program points — enough for either a gift card worth $50.00 or for redeeming for a free night at greater than 1,500 participating hotel and resort properties — after each second qualifying stay through Monday, July 31, 2017 through this current promotion.
