Reminder August 4 2024: Free Cookies From DoubleTree by Hilton
…and this year, you get to choose between a complimentary original warm chocolate chip cookie or the version which is gluten free and has no nuts for people who have allergies to gluten and nuts.
The DoubleTree Cookie debuted in 1986 and has since grown to become a beloved part of the guest experience, earning a passionate following around the globe. The brand continues to innovate and elevate its warm welcome to an array of audiences — including bakers, astronauts, and travelers alike. Every year, greater than 20 million of the original DoubleTree by Hilton cookies are enjoyed around the world.
In 2019, the DoubleTree cookie became the first-ever food baked in space when it was baked in orbit aboard the International Space Station during experiments aimed at having space travel become more hospitable. This spring, the DoubleTree cookie landed on display at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly in Virginia, representing the commitment of DoubleTree by Hilton to warm and caring service anywhere in the universe.
On National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day in 2023, DoubleTree by Hilton introduced an allergy-friendly version of the chocolate chip cookie to extend the signature welcome of the brand to even more guests. Served as an option alongside the original at check-in, the soft-baked allergy-friendly chocolate chip cookie is made in collaboration with Partake Foods, in a dedicated top nine allergen-free facility and is gluten-free, non-GMO, and vegan.
If you are unable to visit one of the nearly 400 DoubleTree by Hilton hotel properties across the United States for National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day tomorrow, Sunday, August 4 2024, you can opt to use the official cookie recipe to bake your own warm and comforting treat in your own kitchen — and you can alter the recipe any way you like, whether the differences from the original recipe is based on taste or allergies.

I have yet to try the alternate version of the DoubleTree by Hilton cookie. Although I do not like nuts, I still do eat the cookie.
