The Winning Flavor of the New Waffle at Hampton by Hilton Is…

Just in time for National Waffle Day on August 24.

As a result of the Guest Waffle Boss competition last year with which guests of Hampton by Hilton created recipes for the next signature waffle, the winning recipe will be available for a limited time — just in time for the celebration of National Waffle Day on Monday, August 24, 2026…

The Winning Flavor of the New Waffle at Hampton by Hilton Is…

…and the new flavor is the Peach Cobbler Waffle, which will be available at nearly 2,500 participating Hampton by Hilton hotel properties across the United States and Canada starting this month. The Peach Cobbler Waffle stacks ripe peaches, oat crumble, caramel sauce, and whipped cream on top of the beloved Belgian waffle that guests bake for themselves at Hampton by Hilton hotel properties.

In addition to having her waffle featured at Hampton by Hilton hotel properties throughout the United States and Canada, the winner of the grand prize — who is shown in this video — received a stay of five nights at any Hampton by Hilton hotel property and one million Hilton Honors points.

Breakfast has long been known as the most important meal of the day, but according to travelers, it might just be the happiest, too. According to a new Hampton by Hilton study conducted with Wired Research:

  • 42% of travelers say a great hotel breakfast makes them happy before hitting the road.
  • Two-thirds (66%) are more likely to enjoy a sit-down breakfast while traveling than at home.
  • Nearly four in 10 (39%) say a hot breakfast they don’t have to cook leaves them just as happy as a spa day.

Today, guests make an estimated 30 million waffles each year at Hampton hotels, enough to fill the biggest stadium in America – Michigan Stadium, in the home state of Hampton’s Guest Waffle Boss – 278 times over. From classic favorites to seasonal flavors like Red Velvet, Pumpkin Spice, S’mores and now Peach Cobbler, Hampton continues to evolve its breakfast tradition, proving that even an iconic guest favorite can keep getting better through thoughtful innovation.

Final Boarding Call

I happen to enjoy a freshly baked Belgian waffle whenever I stay at a Hampton by Hilton hotel property — I like mine with fruit, chocolate, and lots of whipped cream — and limited time flavors add to the experience whenever they are available.

That Peach Cobbler Waffle actually sounds quite good. I will have to try it the next time I stay as a guest in a Hampton by Hilton hotel property…
