Ritz-Carlton Reserve Joins Marriott Bonvoy

The latest brand to join the frequent guest loyalty program.

That is the official description of Ritz-Carlton Reserve; and members of the Marriott Bonvoy frequent guest loyalty program can now earn 10 points per dollar spent in base points — plus bonus points depending on elite tier, and co-brand credit card accelerators will apply — and redeem points across the five Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties that are located in Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Puerto Rico, and Mexico effective immediately.

Moreover, Marriott Bonvoy members will receive one elite night credit per night for every night spent at a Ritz-Carlton Reserve resort property, and that elite night credit will count toward lifetime elite status.

Because of the high level of service and unparalleled on-property offerings at Ritz-Carlton Reserve resort properties worldwide, an incremental point structure was incorporated to reflect the Ritz-Carlton Reserve experience. Redemption rates range between 80,000 points per night and 240,000 points per night. Members will be able to book Cash + Points rates subject to availability. The Stay for 5, Pay for 4 benefit will apply.

With taxes and fees, the total minimum cost to stay one week at this resort property during that week is 80,407,527 Indonesian rupiah, which is approximately $5,596.76 in United States dollars.

If you redeem Marriott Bonvoy points instead, the cost is 574,000 Marriott Bonvoy points, which includes the free night for staying at least five days.

Those costs are on the expensive side, as expected — but they are still doable.
