I enjoy a great view — whether it is from an airplane, the top of a mountain, or a tall building or tower. To observe humanity milling about from hundreds of meters above is simply a sight to behold, in my opinion.
To Which of These 54 Great Towers Have You Been?

While researching what to do and where to go for an upcoming trip, I stumbled upon what is known as the World Federation of Great Towers — which “exists to showcase the great towers of the world and celebrate the astonishing feats of architecture and engineering that created them.”

The 54 great towers which comprise the membership of the World Federation of Great Towers — which was founded in 1989 — include:
