The main reason why an arboretum is located adjacent to an electric power substation in Omaha is because the Omaha Power Public District Arboretum created an interesting yet educational environment in which everyone can enjoy and learn about the trees and shrubs that are recommended for use in southeastern Nebraska…

…but in this article about my experience, I used photographs of the arboretum itself — although I shocked to find the actual electric power substation itself to be interesting and not revolting. I was empowered to take current photographs of it as an outlet of my being momentarily wired up about it.

More utility companies should have similar arboretums to educate, entertain, and relax their customers so that they can create a buzz about them.
