…and for this promotion, those 8,000 points can also be redeemed for a gift card worth $50.00 — a gift card typically requires that you redeem 16,000 points — and the gift card must be redeemed by Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
You must sign up and register for this promotion prior to checking out of the hotel during your first stay; and you must book your stay at a qualifying rate. Additionally, registration is now open to you — but only if you maintain an address in the United States and its territories and Canada.
Realize that after a second qualifying stay, you will be awarded a minimum of 5,000 and maximum of 8,000 bonus Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program points, depending on the number of base points earned from the two separate qualifying trips.
If you are not a member of the Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program, you can join as a member now at no cost to you.
A stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel or resort property — regardless of how many times you check in and check out. You must provide your member number when you check in at the hotel property; and you must set your earning preference to Choice Privileges points in your account.
Early Reservation Booking Discount
If you book early, you can save up to 20 percent on room rates — with a minimum discount of at least 15 percent — but the reservation must be booked through the official Internet web site of Choice Hotels using your Choice Privileges membership account number and must be made at least 7, 14, 21 or 30 days in advance, which will vary based on the hotel property for which the reservation is being made. Be aware that you cannot change or cancel your reservation once it is booked, and the discounted rate is not refundable. Your credit card will be charged for the total reservation amount within 48 hours of booking your reservation. Rooms at this discount are limited; and this offer is not available to groups nor can it be combined with any other discount.
Elite Diamond and Elite Platinum Status
You can book directly with a hotel or resort property if you have earned Elite Diamond and Elite Platinum status; but if you book through the official Internet web site of Choice Hotels or use its mobile application software, you will receive a choice of 250 additional Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program points or a snack and beverage with every qualifying stay as an incentive.

Ascend Hotel Collection all-inclusive hotel and resort properties and Woodspring Suites hotel properties are not participating in this promotion.
Trips at vacation rental property locations and stays booked with the SEGEN and SRTLG rate codes do not qualify for promotional bonus points. To be eligible to earn the bonus, you must set you earning preference to Choice Privileges points in your account. Any change implemented to your earning preference will remain in effect after the promotion has ended. If you would like to revert to earning airline miles or Amtrak Guest Rewards, you must reset your preference in your account. Please allow 72 hours from checking out of the hotel or resort property for points to post to your account; and points earned from stays at international locations can take up to 20 days to post to your account.

Keep in mind that your points will expire within 18 months unless you have at least one qualifying activity in your account to keep your points from expiring.
This promotion is not for everyone; but if you plan on staying at Choice Hotels properties during the promotion period anyway, you should consider registering for this promotion as a member of the Choice Privileges frequent guest loyalty program.
