After spending several days in Oman, I returned the car I rented and arrived at the airport for my flight. Similar to passing time watching window washers wash windows at Shanghai Pudong International Airport while awaiting my flight to New York on an airplane operated by China Eastern Airlines, I passed the time at Oman Airport watching one of the employees diligently cleaning the floor near the area to check in for the flights which are operated by Oman Air.

In an area which was roped off, the employee splashes some of the water from a bucket onto the floor and cleans it.
He is wearing a mask, gloves, and boots for his protection — but this was years before the official declaration of the current 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic.
That floor was sparkling clean and shiny by the time he was done.
