Violinist on Unicycle in Santiago. Sunday Morning Photograph.

Stringing motorists softly with his songs?

A violinist on a unicycle in Santiago serenades motorists as they wait at a traffic light on a busy street called Bellavista in the largest city in Chile; and the windows were rolled down in at least one car to listen to the impromptu performance.

The violinist may have been busking for a few Chilean pesos. Perhaps he was a student. Who knows?

I did not stop to find out more information, as I was on my way elsewhere.

Escuela de Derecho de la Universidad de Chile is a law school which is located at the intersection of Bellavista and Pío Nono — where the photograph was taken — near the center of the city.
